Donate Your Stock
Your generous stock gifting donation can provide financial assistance to clients through the Em Upton Scholarship Fund or to our general operating fund, while providing tax benefits to you. The Em Upton Scholarship Fund is administered with the help of Project Heal, an eating disorders non-profit that helps people access care when they have limited funds. Project Heal conducts a rigorous means test to be sure the most needy clients have access to the services they deserve.
The Benefits of Donating Stock
1. The fulfillment of investing in a cause that is important to you.
2. Receive a tax deduction for the market value of the donation.
3. Avoid the capital gains tax that you would pay if you sold the stock.
4. Rebalance your portfolio.

If you are over the age of 72, you can donate all or a portion of your required minimum distribution to The Em Upton Scholarship Fund or general operating fund to support the ongoing efforts of HHRR to provide unique and necessary eating disorder services not found elsewhere.
